How many Harry Potter books are published.

My friend and I are doing a project on how much stuff is used, and we thought about paper and how much is used. So if any guesses on how many are published?

Up to June of 2008 there have been more than 400 million copies. Since then I would estimate it has grown to possibly 500 million copies. The books have been translated to 67 different languages. With it’s popularity, I think it could sell less then 100 million in a year and a half since June, 2008.Of the books that go platinum, it usually takes over a year… Harry Potter broke that in less then a day. That is pretty phenomenal.CyberNara

how many pages will the last harry potter book have.

the title of it is called “harry potter and the deathly hallows”. has recently been updated with news that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the seventh and final book in the series, will be released on July 21st, 2007, one week after the fifth movie hits theaters.Scholastic has followed with a press release in which Lisa Holton, President of Scholastic Children’s Books said, ‘We are thrilled to announce the publication date of the seventh installment in this remarkable series. We join J.K. Rowling’s millions of readers – young and old, veterans and newcomers – in anticipating what lies ahead.’ You can read the full press release here. The hardcover will sell for $34.99 with the deluxe edition fetching $65.00. These high prices could mean the book will be longer than any of the previous six.J.K.R has said in interviews that she thinks that Book 7 will be shorter than Order of the Phoenix. But assuming the book will be shorter than OOTP, which weighed in at 870 pages, she’s still given herself room to write a respectable 869-page tome. J.K.R. has alot of loose ends that she needs to wrap up, so don’t be surprised if Book 7 comes close to that length.

how many Harry Potter books were sold at this point in time.

compare Harry Potter and the deathly hollows to the Half blood Princewhat book sold more ?

I’d say Deathly Hollows sold more, because it was the last book. Even people who have not read all the other books were buying this one, because they wanted to know how it ended.

how many copies of the Harry Potter series have been sold world-wide.

# of copies sold worldwide for each of the six titles by each book would be awesome

how many harry potter books are there.

also do you like them ?and how many harry potter movies are there?are there making any more?sorry but I just got interested in harry potter so yeah.^_^

There are several Harry Potter books that I enjoy reading.Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone / Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s StoneHarry Potter and the Chamber of SecretsHarry Potter and the Prisoner of AzkabanHarry Potter and the Goblet of FireHarry Potter and the Order of the PhoenixHarry Potter and the Half-Blood PrinceHarry Potter and the Deathly HallowsHarry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone is just the US release of the book Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone was the UK edition. Correct me if I’m wrong. Also J.K. Rowling made two separate books for Comic Relief;Quidditch Through the AgesFantastic Beasts and Where to Find ThemShe also wrote several copies of “The tales of Beedle the Bard”. Six were given away the seventh was sold at an auction for £1.95 million, which was donated to the Children’s Voice campaign.I think that she said that she planned to write a Harry Potter Encyclopedia which, if it’s true, I’m looking forward to it.There are five movies out so far;Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s StoneHarry Potter and the Chamber of SecretsHarry Potter and the Prisoner of AzkabanHarry Potter and the Goblet of FireHarry Potter and the Order of the PhoenixBut there is going to be eight all together. The reason for the extra movie is because recently it has been announced that the final movie is to be spilt in two parts, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. Part 1 is scheduled for release in November 2010 and Part 2 in May 2011 so there is going to be a six month wait.It is unlikely that there are going to be any more adventures in the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling. I think she said that she was done with the series so she won’t keep going on it.I am a fan of the Harry Potter series as it is a good read. Shame the books have ended. Hope this answered all your questions. For all the Harry Potter information you need go to http://www.mugglenet.comAlso try listening to MuggleCast which is the podcast from Mugglenet.

  1. There are currently 5 movies out, the 6th will be released November 2009, and the 7th (which is going to be made in 2 parts) will be released November 2010 (Part 1) and may 2011 (Part 2)Theres alot but i always watch the show. i didn’t read the book , is it really that interesting??

  2. 7 books. First 5 books have been made as movies so far. They are currently filming the sixth movie, based obviously on the sixth book, ‘Half-Blood Prince’ which is due out at the end of this year. Seventh movie is being made into TWO not three parts. They start filming that early next year. Part one is scheduled for release in November 2010 and Part 2 in May 2011 so there is gonna be a big wait. They are shooting both parts together and is set to take up all next year.I’m going to guess a whole lot…

  3. The last, seventh book that I am reading at the moment is going to be filmed into two films and not three as one of my friends stated above. So, there are going to be eight films in all for the seven books. Both the films will be shot once but released with a gap in between. The first film will come out in 2010 autumn and the second part in the summer to follow.

  4. -The Order of the PheonixHarry Potter and the Prisoner of AzkabanEnjoy, they have totally changed my life 🙂

  5. I am reading the seventh book now and I am a late fan of the HP series. Late in the sense that I started to take interest pretty late after the first two films had already come out.Harry Potter and the Half-Blood PrinceOooh good question 🙂

  6. e book a million – ~107 million e book 2 – ~seventy seven million e book 3 – ~fifty 5 million e book 4 – ~fifty 5 million e book 5 – ~fifty 5 million e book 6 – ~sixty 5 million e book 7 – ~11 million (the 1st 24 hours!) ….. AND COUNTING….

  7. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood PrinceThere are 5 movies so far, but they plan on doing the entire series. The Half-Blood Prince comes out in November of this year. There are also two other books, which are a spin-off from the main series: Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and Quidditch through the ages.I’m positive that the Deathly HallowsHarry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkabanhas sold more. It is the last book andwell lets put it this way her books made her a millionaire

  8. -The Deathly HallowsShe also wrote seven copies of ” The tales of Beedle the Bard”, six of which were given away, and the seventh was sold in a auction.

  9. Have fun!!!There are 7 books.I personally don’t know about an exact number. J.K. Rowling recently gave an interview to The Richard and Judy Show in the U.K., and they said that enough Harry Potter books had been sold to go around the Equator one and a half times. There are 7 booksbut i know the harry potter book sold a lot!! cause J.K Rowling is now a billionaire

  10. I recommend visiting this site for all things Harry related, it is the best HP site on the net that there is!Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenixmillions

  11. don’t like harry potter that much it’s to long to wait for the books and the movies and i just like somethins paraphrased and strat to the point.

  12. Harry Potter and the Chamber of SecretsThere are also 2 books that JK wrote for charity called “Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them” and “Quidditch Through the Ages”As others have said there are a lot of loose ends. Rowlings has said the book will not be her longest, so I’m guessing around 800-850 pages or so.

  13. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows-The Sorcerer’s Stonethere are 7 harry potter books. Yes i do like them. theres going to be 7 or 8 movies. They’re making more movies, but I don’t think J.K. Rowling is writing any books

  14. There are seven main books: The Philosophers Stone, The Chamber of Secrets, The Prisoner of Azkaban, The Goblet of Fire, The Order of the Phoenix, The Half-Blood Prince and The Deathly Hallows.Harry Potter and the Chamber of SecretsI’m sure it’s the deathly hallows…didn’t you realize the suspense J.K Rowling made everyone have??…well for me anyway…

  15. I can’t find anything up to date, however, as of June, 2008, more than 4000,000,000 copies have been sold in 67 languages.

  16. I LOVE love love Harry Potter, I am a hard core fan!I like them very much. The books are better, because there is much more plot and detail involved. But the movies are still awesome. ^_^

  17. The movies are fun to watch and I really like them, but nothing can ever compare to the books. Considering all the detail involved in the books, the movies have done well so far. But you really need to read all the books, it is not possible to include half of the details from the books in the movies, it just can’t be done but they have done well anyway. Nothing compares to the books!

  18. J.K. Rowling is the classic literary success story. Who started out as a struggling single mother soon became richer than the Queen.
